Bengaluru showed up.
The inaugural Civo Navigate India has come to an end, and Bengaluru made this one unforgettable. With more than 1,600 registrations, this was our biggest Navigate event yet, filled with energy, conversation, and a community ready to build what comes next.
First, a huge thank-you to our sponsors, attendees, and speakers for making this event possible. Your support helped set the tone for an extraordinary first year in India.
”It was great to see Civo bringing their flagship conference to India for the first time, with a focus on cloud innovation, AI, and data sovereignty. The networking opportunities were fantastic, and I enjoyed connecting with fellow tech enthusiasts and industry professionals throughout the day.
The energy was palpable, the speakers were knowledgeable, and it's always inspiring to be in a room full of people passionate about cloud-native technologies and AI. Looking forward to seeing how Civo Navigate India evolves in future years. The foundation is solid, and with some tweaks, this could become a must-attend event on the Indian tech calendar." - Aditya Banerjee, attendee of Civo Navigate India 2025
Built for more: Civo Navigate India arrives
We opened Civo Navigate India with a keynote from CEO Mark Boost, joined by members of the Civo leadership team and a familiar face in the Civo community: Kunal Kushwaha, our former Field CTO. His return to the Civo Navigate stage set a warm and exciting tone, reminding many of how far this community has come.
Mark’s keynote explored how Civo is shaping a sovereign, AI-driven future. He spoke about removing the blurred lines between public and private cloud, giving organizations more control and clarity, and building infrastructure designed for speed and simplicity, not legacy complexity.
”Civo is truly driving innovation by bringing Cloud and AI together in a powerful way. One of the standout highlights was their ability to help organizations move from private to public cloud (and vice versa) without redesigning the entire infrastructure - an impressive and practical capability.
A room full of brilliant minds and groundbreaking ideas - truly a great experience! Looking forward to seeing what Civo brings next! 💡🤝✨” - Mushtaq Ahmed, attendee of Civo Navigate India 2025
As India accelerates its adoption of AI and cloud-native technologies, the message resonated strongly: Civo is here to support a new generation of builders with infrastructure that is truly built for more.
“India’s surging cloud market has a golden opportunity to forge a new path that puts users first, and we’re thrilled to have the chance to offer our Indian customers cloud native technologies and help businesses in the region to build their technologies on a foundation of transparency and fairness.” - Mark Boost, CEO of Civo

Powering India’s next era of AI and digital sovereignty
On the mainstage, Harsha Ram from Sify opened the day with a deep look at what it takes to build digital infrastructure ready for the age of AI. His session explored how Sify is deploying Intelligent Digital Infrastructure, powered by AI data centers, high-performance networks, agentic capabilities, and AIOps to help enterprises train models faster, make real-time decisions, and deliver seamless digital experiences at scale.
His message resonated strongly: India’s AI ambitions need infrastructure built intentionally for it, not retrofitted around it.
The conversation moved into a fast-paced, deeply technical panel featuring Josh Mesout (Chief Innovation Officer, Civo), Suneel Kumar Khare (CTO, Planetcast Media), Anjali Batra (Director, Artificial Intelligence), Vishwastam Shukla (CTO, HackerEarth), and Chirotpal Das (Founder, SarthiAI). Together, they unpacked the breakthroughs reshaping the field, from multimodal systems and open-source frameworks to the rising demands of high-performance computing and next-generation GPUs.
”the sessions were absolutely worth it. From deep dives into cloud-native workflows to eye-opening discussions on open-source business models, alternatives, and how they compete with closed-source ecosystems… the clarity I got on how open-source survives, scales, and stands strong was pure gold. 🔥
Overall, the experience was beyond great refreshing insights, real interactions, and a solid reminder that the tech world is much bigger, kinder, and more collaborative than we imagine." - Zaid Ahmed S, attendee of Civo Navigate India 2025
This panel brought real, practical insight. The speakers shared what they’re learning from deploying cutting-edge AI systems in production, the challenges of scaling reliably, and how open-source collaboration continues to accelerate innovation across the ecosystem.
It was a grounded, forward-looking conversation about the technologies redefining AI today, and the innovations that will drive the next wave.
In her lightning talk, Amanda Brock (CEO, OpenUK) examined the global state of open AI, tracing how openness is evolving across the UK, India, and international efforts. Her session highlighted why transparency, shared standards, and open collaboration matter more than ever as AI becomes foundational to how the world builds, governs, and innovates.
Later in the day, we welcomed a familiar face, Kunal Kushwaha, back to the Navigate stage, joined by Rahul Poruri (CEO, FOSS United), Toshal Khawale (Managing Director, PwC), and Deepthi Anantharam (Vice President -Data & AI, Canarys Automations Limited) or a panel on one of the biggest shifts shaping global technology: digital sovereignty.
