Civo confirmed as one of the first Vera Rubin hosts globally
On 23 July, Civo announced it will be among the first cloud providers globally to host NVIDIA Vera Rubin in purpose-built liquid-cooled facilities.
The Vera Rubin NVL72 platform carries 288GB of HBM4 memory per GPU and delivers 5x the inference performance of Blackwell. It also requires liquid cooling that most providers aren't currently equipped to meet.
Be first to deploy NVIDIA Vera Rubin
Accelerate your AI journey with a platform that’s built for more. The NVIDIA Vera Rubin platform combines next-generation AI compute into a single integrated system. With flexible configurations from individual Rubin chips to full NVL72 racks, you get scalable, high-performance systems designed for demanding AI workloads.

"Cloud first" is dead: Here's what replaced it
Russell Smith, Product Director for Enterprise Private Cloud at Civo, published the blog companion to his cloud repatriation webinar this month.
The short version: runaway bills, Broadcom's VMware pricing shock, sovereignty moving from legal footnote to procurement requirement, and the true cost of AI infrastructure. The real strategy is selective rebalancing, and the organizations building that hybrid path now are the ones making the decision on their own terms.

Save your seat: Private cloud with public cloud parity
14 October 2026 | 4:00 PM UTC | with Russell Smith & Sophia McKee
"Private cloud" has been a promise that underdelivers for years. Locked-down environments, limited services, and an ops burden that made the economics barely worth it.
The conversation has changed, but the scepticism hasn't, and for good reason. Join Russell Smith and Sophia McKee as they cut through the noise to show exactly what full cloud parity inside a private environment actually looks like in 2026.
Platform Engineering Unplugged: Why does every cluster look different?
19 August 2026 | 4:00 PM UTC | with John Dietz & M R Rishi
If you've ever inherited a cluster that nobody fully understands, provisioned one from memory, or watched two teams solve the same infrastructure problem in completely different ways, this one is for you.
On 19 August, John Dietz and M R Rishi walk through how Konstruct's cluster templates work in practice: from built-in upstream templates for Civo, AWS, GCP, Azure, and bare metal, to building and registering your own custom templates with your own Terraform modules and GitOps content.
