Open Source in the Cloud-Native Era: A Panel Discussion

Everyone depends on open source, but far fewer agree on who should sustain it, what counts as "open", or what portability really means. Moderated by Amanda Brock, CEO of OpenUK, this panel brings together Kelsey Hightower, Liz Rice of Isovalent at Cisco, Matt Barker of Jetstack, and Dinesh Majrekar of Civo. As Kubernetes matures and AI reshapes the stack, they debate community, commercialisation, and the social contract between vendors and the developers who build in the open.
