This is probably the simplest part of setting up your domain to have it's DNS served by Civo. If you don't understand what nameservers even are, you can read more about it in our introduction to DNS.

We're going to use LCN.com to setup our domain. We're going to assume you have registered the domain name and gone to the Domains section of My Account on LCN.com.

Managing the domain

The first step is to click on the "Manage" link alongside the domain you want to change the DNS to be hosted by Civo.com.

The second step is to click the "Edit nameservers" link to change the nameservers to Civo's ones.

Using our DNS servers

The final step is to change the values to ns0.civo.com and ns1.civo.com and click the "Update" button.

After this you just then need to configure your DNS records on Civo.com.
